Designed and manufactured in the UK by S C Engineering, these premium windscreen brackets/window blocks are engineered specifically for classic Land Rover Defender models from 1983–2016.
Manufactured from high-quality 6082 billet aluminium and precision CNC machined to an exceptional standard, these brackets are designed to improve durability, fitment, sealing quality, and overall appearance while maintaining a clean OEM-style look.
Finished in Cerakote C Series Graphite Black (C-102), these window blocks are built to withstand harsh weather conditions, aggressive cleaning chemicals, and long-term outdoor use far better than conventional anodised alternatives.

Premium O-Ring Seal Design
These window blocks use integrated O-ring seals to provide superior weather sealing while delivering a cleaner and more refined installation compared to conventional gasket designs.
One of the common issues with Defender bulkheads is that the mounting surfaces are often uneven or imperfectly flat. Traditional paper-thin gaskets supplied as standard have very little compression and struggle to seal effectively over irregular surfaces.
The integrated O-ring design offers significantly better sealing performance by allowing proper compression and conformity against the bulkhead surface, helping to reduce water ingress while improving long-term reliability.
Unlike many aftermarket alternatives, there are no visible external gaskets once fitted, giving a much cleaner OEM-style appearance.
The sealing system also allows the use of strong screen wash solutions and cleaning products without concerns over damaging the finish or surrounding components.
Why Cerakote Instead of Anodising?
After extensive testing, anodising was found to be less suitable for external Defender components regularly exposed to harsh weather, cleaning chemicals, traffic film removers, and strong screen wash solutions.
Many anodised finishes can become stained, faded, or discoloured over time when subjected to aggressive chemicals or frequent vehicle cleaning.
Cerakote C Series ceramic coating was selected because it offers significantly improved long-term protection and durability.

Unlike anodising, every Cerakoted part is individually prepared and hand-finished rather than batch processed.
Roll-Formed Threads for Maximum Strength
All mounting holes are roll tapped rather than conventionally cut.
This process forms the thread within the aluminium instead of removing material, producing substantially stronger threads with improved durability and wear resistance.
This is a significantly higher-quality manufacturing process rarely used on comparable aftermarket Defender parts.

Every Cerakoted part is finished in-house to ensure complete quality control throughout the coating process.

Cerakote C Series coatings are formulated to withstand temperatures up to 1800°F and are available in over 50 colours.
Custom Cerakote colours can also be arranged upon request for an additional charge plus VAT.

No additional bolts, gaskets, or extra parts are required — everything needed for installation is supplied.
The supplied stainless steel Torx pin security bolts also provide a cleaner and more premium appearance inside the Defender compared to the original factory fixings.
