Description

Auxbeam trim panel holder designed specifically for the driver-side window panel on a Land Rover Defender.

This mount allows you to install the Auxbeam RGB 8 Gang Slim Switch Panel neatly beside the window, utilising unused space while keeping the controls easy to reach and clearly visible. It provides a clean, tidy installation for controlling aftermarket accessories such as lights, winches, and other electrical equipment.

I designed this panel to make it easier to control accessories while driving or when standing outside the vehicle. For example, you can leave the window open and operate a winch using the lower buttons without needing to get in and out of the vehicle.

Mounting Design

The holder was originally tested with spacers, but it worked better without them.

The final design acts like a clamp around the door rubber seal, holding the mount firmly in place while leaving enough room for wiring behind the unit. The door seal also remains secure and cannot move.

Material

This mount is 3D printed in PA6-GF (glass-fiber reinforced nylon).
